Wasabi Bloody Marys
1 lime, juiced
4 teaspoons wasabi
6 cups spicy V-8 juice
3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons hot sauce (tapatio or tobasco)
3/4 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoons pepper
1 1/2 cups vodka
*Combine lime juice and wasabi and whisk until wasabi dissolves. Add all ingredients together in a pitcher and chill. Serve over ice with celery and my favorite: green olives stuffed with jalapenos. SPICY!
These sound like they are H-O-T- Hot! And I agree, the only reason I put up with football season is for all the good drinks and food!
ReplyDeleteThere is now a Wasabi Spirit (40% ABV) available from www.wasabispirit.com that really spices up a Bloody Mary and a Bloody Caesar. It has already won a couple of medals and there are more drink recipes in the site as well. As a breakfast drink - it surely must be one of the best. :)
ReplyDeletewow this is a fun drink
ReplyDeleteI'll have to keep the wasabi tip in mind the next time I mix this drink. I think it'll add a nice novel touch.
ReplyDeleteSo spicy and delicious - these would put some pep in my step!
