As soon as Amber posted her recipe for
Dirty Santa, I ran to Costco to stock up on eggnog. And since then we’ve put back several Dirty Santa’s – they’re so good and how can you resist with a name like that? But alas, I still have more eggnog than I know what to do with, so this weekend we made eggnog French toast.
It wasn’t quite the caliber of
Dahlia Lounge French Toast, but it was a 2-ingredient breakfast… easy, quick, delicious and helped make a dent in our eggnog supply!

Eggnog
Soak your sliced bread in eggnog for about 20 minutes. Grill and serve with syrup and butter!
Oh lord you did not just post that. Are you trying to fatten me up or just torture me? Egg Nog French Toast sounds too good to be true.
ReplyDeleteGenius Emily! Pure Genius! I also have leftover Eggnog.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Like the time I was told to dredge the bread thru vanilla bean ice cream for french toast. But this is more festive, I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a brilliant idea. You ladies are so smart.
